New, for us all!

This past month we have been working on establishing new friendships in the Red Room. Ms. Heather and Ms. Stephanie are excited about the coming year as the new teachers of the early pre-school class. We began the month reviewing our shapes and colors. Then we spent some time talking about ourselves and our families. We also learned about different forms of transportation, as well as farm-yard animals, and apples.

We used these topics to build our skills and knowledge in all different areas. We have especially been focusing on our cutting abilities, coloring skills, glueing and painting, as well as creating comprehensive images through constuction.

The early pre-school class has been working on learning the days of the week, the months, numbers and letters. We hope to be able to write all of our letters come spring time! We have already learned A and B.

In the coming month we will be introducing new letters and we will also be talking about nature and fall, halloween and woodland animals. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please come talk to us!
